Why study Psychology & Neuroscience of Mental Health?
Mental health is a global issue. Most of us have either known someone with mental health struggles or we have faced them ourselves. Everyone is different, so both diagnosis and treatment are complex. In recent years, people are feeling more empowered to talk about mental health which has raised awareness and put funding into research.
Societies are now starting to unpick the cultural issues surrounding mental health taboo and stereotypes. This course draws together the disciplines of psychology and neuroscience, using both to help us understand mental health.
